Who we work for<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We work with companies in discrete manufacturing and the process industries, at sites with roughly 200 to 3,000 employees: the whole company, or a single operation within a larger group. Most of our work takes place in the Benelux and the corridor to North Rhine-Westphalia. When a client rolls the approach out to its other plants, we work across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our engagements have included steel, oil, chemicals, automotive, metal packaging, cables, electronics, high-tech and metalworking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How we are organised<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Axisto is a network organisation. For each engagement we put together a small team of senior people with a solid track record of improving performance, either in operational leadership roles or as implementation consultants, matched to your sector and your challenge. No pyramid of juniors doing the work, and no change of team once the contract is signed: the people you meet in the first conversation are there at handover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That the team is small and supplemented by your own people is the core of the approach. That way your organisation owns, and continues to own, the changes, the improvement programme and the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we don’t do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We don’t take over your operation: your managers keep running the business and remain the owners of the decisions. We don’t copy a solution from one site to another, because every site has to find its own answers in order to own them. Our approach has proven itself in more than 150 projects, but it isn’t applied dogmatically. It is a guide, shaped specifically to your organisation and your challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology where it strengthens management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Data capture, trend analysis, performance reporting, and predictive and prescriptive analytics turn out to be a problem for the vast majority of our clients. Manual, repetitive work also still turns up surprisingly often. These are typical areas where we support with technology. Usually as part of a larger programme and as a means to improve performance, rarely as a project in its own right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At an oil and chemicals company, introducing RPA (Robotic Process Automation) freed up 7,500 hours of engineering time, and cleared a backlog that had been growing for months. Read the case \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometime we step in temporarily<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If a gap opens up in the organisation that can’t be filled quickly enough, we will, at the client’s request, fill a role temporarily until a permanent successor is in place. It is an exception that keeps the programme moving, not a service we offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What you can hold us to<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We leave when your people can not only hold the result, but keep improving on it themselves. That is why we measure a third figure: where performance stands after we have left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
